Flowers, Nature, Photography, Stalking Mike Blair

Hello Stalkers! Welcome to the twenty-seventh installment of Stalking Mike Blair Outdoors. We are right in the middle of summer and we know some of you are experiencing triple digit weather. While we always encourage you to explore outside and investigate the wildlife around you, we want to caution you to do so safely! Avoid times of the day when the sun (and the heat) peaks, always wear sunscreen, remember to reapply and drink lots and lots of water. Dehydration and heat stroke are real dangers when out and about, please be careful.

Now that’s taken care of. While you’re out exploring, taking a relaxing walk and enjoying your summer, you’ve probably noticed the abundance of colorful foliage. Wildflowers are one of nature’s best features this time of year. Bright colors and unique flowers spot the prairie and other areas. We’re going to explore a few of the species that Blair has come across in his adventures.
